2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions
 

Start by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for approximately 5 minutes.

    In a large mixing bowl, toss the diced apples with the lemon juice, making sure they're evenly coated.

      In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt until well blended.

        Add the melted butter to the dry mixture and stir until it becomes crumbly. If desired, include the chopped nuts and mix to incorporate.

          Carefully fold the apples into the crumbly oat blend, ensuring they're well coated.

            Give the air fryer basket a light spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

              Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop tablespoon-sized portions of the apple mixture into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each portion.

                Air fry the bites for about 10-12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and the apples become tender.

                  Once done, gently take out the bites and allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
