Ingredients

10 chicken drumsticks

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a large baking dish by lightly greasing it with non-stick spray or a thin layer of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Coating: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until all the dry ingredients are evenly mixed and the garlic is distributed throughout.

Coat the Drumsticks: Take a few paper towels and pat the chicken drumsticks dry to remove any excess moisture – this will help the coating stick better. In a separate bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the drumsticks, tossing them to ensure they are evenly coated.

Dredge the Chicken: Working one drumstick at a time, roll it in the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to achieve a generous and even coat. Place the coated drumsticks into the prepared baking dish in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.

Bake: Arrange the drumsticks in the baking dish (if they don’t fit comfortably, use a second dish). Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and crispy and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Serve and Garnish: Once baked, carefully remove the drumsticks from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes. Just before serving, sprinkle the freshly chopped parsley over the drumsticks to add a vibrant color and fresh flavor.

Enjoy: Serve these deliciously crispy garlic Parmesan drumsticks warm, complemented by your favorite dipping sauce or a refreshing side salad for a delightful meal.
